Viscomat II system delivered to Canada

The first Viscomat II system to Canada has been delivered. The system, including water bath and balance, was installed at the AV Cell factory in Atholville, New Brunswick in March 2016 by personnel from Lagge.

Viscomat II system delivered to Czech Republic

The first Viscomat II system to the Czech Republic has been delivered. The system, including water bath and balance, was installed at the Lenzing Biocel Paskov factory in eastern Czech Republic in late January 2016 by personnel from Lagge.

Two Viscomat II systems delivered to Indonesia

The first two Viscomat II units in Indonesia were installed at the PT Riau Andalan Paper factory, part of the April group, in Riau province on Sumatra in early January 2016. The installation, which included water baths and balances, was performed by personnel from Lagge and from Elang Harapan Ltd, an Elof Hansson subsidiary in Indonesia.

ViscLab version 2.27 released

A new version, 2.27.0, of the ViscLab software has been released. Among the more than 30 changes and improvements:

When deleting data from the Archive, data is moved to a hidden table in order to prevent accidental loss of data.
Added tools in Calculators window to calculate the sample dryness and to estimate the required sample amount, based on the expected viscosity.
Calibration constants and data deleted from the Archive can now be exported to Excel etc.

ViscLab version 2.26 released

A new version, 2.26.0, of the ViscLab software has been released. Among the more than 20 changes and improvements:

Improvements for sending results to a LIMS/SCADA system
TAPPI T230 values (cP) now in tables , reports, export, etc.
Improved handling of double detection (when e.g. bubbles in sample)

Viscomat II system delivered to China

The first Viscomat II system in China was installed at Sun Paper in Shandong province in September 2015. The installation was performed by personnel from both Lagge and Elof Hansson and included training of the laboratory staff at the brand new factory.

VISCOMAT II AT ASIAN PAPER 2014, BANGKOK

Lagge Control AB participated together with Elof Hansson and several other EH associated companies at ASIAN PAPER 2014 at Queen Sirikit Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand, 23-25 April, 2014.

Quality manager Dr. Harald Pettersen presented our product for automatic analysis of pulp viscosity, Viscomat II, that raised interest to many visitors.

Asia is a key markets for Viscomat II and many importanat new contacts were made during the fair that had more than 170 exhibitors and were visited by professionals from all over Asia – but also from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Oceania.

New version of ViscLab

A new version of ViscLab, the software for the Viscomat II, has been released. Some of the changes in the new version (2.20.0) include.

Added possibility to export to Excel file.
Deleted data is hidden instead of being deleted, in order to prevent accidental loss of data.
Added tools to calculate the CED factor, the concentration of glycerol solution and the sample dryness from room humidity.

This new version is available for download for customers with a service- or software update agreement.

Lagge is at China Paper 2012 in Shanghai, China

You will find us in booth no. 1622 on the ground floor from Sept. 10 to 12 together with our new distributor for China, FRANK-PTI (a subsidiary of Elof Hansson).
